       波蘭共和國位于歐洲中部，與德國、捷克、立陶宛、白俄羅斯、烏克蘭以及俄國為鄰。波蘭北臨波羅的海，國土面積在歐洲排名第9，波蘭人口在歐盟中排名第6。官方語言為波蘭語，但大部分民眾都可以用英語交流。

Poland is situated in Central Europe and neighboured by Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Lithuania, Belarus, Uk raine and Russia. The northernm border is the Baltic Sea coast. Poland is the 9th largest country in Europe and the 6th most  populous member of the EU. The official language is Polish and  the majority of the population is able to communicate in Engish.

Pomorskie (Pomerania) is one of the 16 voivodeships (provinces) in Poland and lies on the southern shore of the Baltic Sea. It occupies 6% of the country area. There are not many places in Europe like the Pomorskie Region and its coast line; Fishing villages, wild beaches, cliffs and sand dunes all beautifully make up for the unique character of the local landscape.

Oil processing takes the first place in Pomeranian Region, followed by shipbuilding.There are 7 institutions of higher learning in Pomeranian Region, mainly in Gdansk City, including Gdansk University, Gdansk Institute of technology, Gdansk Medical College, conservatory of music, Academy of fine arts, Institute of physical education and Gdynia higher ocean school.

        阿特斯議事庭位于格但斯克最美麗的街道之一的長廣場街上。阿特斯議事庭始建于14世紀。格但斯克的地標尼普頓噴泉就屹立在阿特斯議事庭的前面。

The Artus Court (Dwor Artusa) is located at one of the most notable streets of the city- the Long Market (Dlugi Targ)

Its long history dates back to the 14th century. The Neptune Fountain, located in front of the building, is  known as the symbol of Gdanisk.

        奧利瓦大教堂是熙篤會的教堂中建筑長度最長的教堂，奧利瓦大教堂擁有眾多的巴洛克式風格和洛可可式風格的藝術品。其中最著名的是洛可可式的管風琴。

The Oliwa Cathedral is the longest Cistercian church in the world.It holds works of art of great artistic value in Baroque and Rococo styles.Among the numerous gems of the realm of art, the collection includes the famous rococo organ.

        三聯畫“最后的審判”是德國畫家Hans Memling創作于15世紀的作品。現在收藏于格但斯克的國家博物館之中，是波蘭最有價值畫作之一。

“The Last Judgment”is a triptych painted in 15th century and attributed to the German painter Hans Memling. It is one of the most valuable painitngs in Poland, now displayed in the National Museum in Gdansk.
